Today, nothing is more important than networking to build up successful collaborations with scientific output. Therefore, ESNM created the independent young investigator meeting "nEUROgastro TANDEM" to stress the European collaboration of basic and clinical scientists and practitioners in neurogastroenterology.

The next "nEUROgastro TANDEM" will be held in Bucharest from September 28 to 30, 2023, prior to our biennial meeting “NeuroGASTRO 2023”.

New Webinarseries "International School of Gut Microbiota in Digestive Disease" starts in 2024

Gut dysbiosis participates in the pathogenesis of several intestinal and extra-intestinal diseases including inflammatory bowel disease, diverticular disease, celiac disease, and disorders of gut-brain interaction, neuropsychiatric and metabolic disorders. The huge knowledge that we have gained in only two decades since the advent of culture independent techniques, has brought gut microbiota in central stage in the field of medical sciences.

The participants in the 1st International School of Gut Microbiota in Digestive Disease, supported by Bromatech, will have the opportunity to interact with key opinion leaders that will serve as faculty in this unique event.

Mind, Mood & Microbes 2023

300 participants from across the world joined the 4th meeting of The International Conference on Microbiota-Gut-Brain Axis which took place in the heritage-listed KIT Royal Tropical Institute in Amsterdam on 10-11 May 2023.

24 talks in six symposia were dedicated to neurodevelopment, neurological and psychiatric disorders, molecular mechanisms, and emerging topics and technologies
