ESNM Research Grant – Applications are Now Open!

The ESNM is offering a grant for research in neurogastroenterological diseases, in particular motility disorders of the gastrointestinal tract and disorders of gut-brain interaction (DGBI). The grant intends to support basic as well as clinical research in this area and is worth 20.000 €. 

The objective is to support early-career European investigators by providing funding that promotes the development of their research careers and enables innovative projects representing new research directions. 

Application deadline: December 15, 2026.

October is Dysautonomia Awareness Month 

Dysautonomia can affect gastrointestinal function, causing symptoms such as nausea, bloating, constipation or diarrhoea. Its impact on gastrointestinal motility makes it highly relevant to neurogastroenterology. ESNM supports greater awareness, research and education in this important field.

NEUROGASTRO TANDEM 2027 IS COMING TO LEUVEN

The next nEUROgastro TANDEM will take place on July 6–7, 2027, prior to NeuroGASTRO 2026 in Leuven, Belgium. Bringing together early-career clinical and basic science researchers in neurogastroenterology, TANDEM is all about scientific exchange, collaboration and building connections across Europe. Applications open November 1, 2026. Save the date!

Abstract Submission for NeuroGASTRO 2027 Opens Soon

The abstract submission for our biennial meeting NeuroGASTRO 2027, taking place from July 8-10, 2027 in Leuven, Belgium, opens this October! From October 26, 2026, you can submit your abstract for NeuroGASTRO 2027. More information will follow soon on the congress website.
