Call for the next President of the European Society of Neurogastroenterology and Motility

The Steering Committee herewith would like to invite you to nominate a suitable colleague or personally apply for the position of ESNM President for a four-year term starting Fall 2024 with possibility of re-election. The Steering Committee will propose the candidate to the General Assembly for final ratification.

Successful SAGIM conference

The conference of the Scandinavian Society for Motility and Neurogastroenterology (SAGIM) was successfully held for the 11th time in Copenhagen. 56 participants, mainly from all over Europe, but also a few from outside Europe, attended the conference. Seven PhD students participated in the PhD network meeting and presented their posters at the SAGIM meeting.

Annual meeting: NMD-Portugal

On November 17th-18th, 2023, the annual meeting of the NMD-Neurogastroenterology and Digestive Motility Nucleus of the Portuguese Society of Gastroenterology took place at the Portuguese Society of Gastroenterology in Lisbon. This event, tailored for gastroenterology trainees, focused on the theme "Disruption of gut-brain interaction: the fundamentals of science.

IBSdays postponed

The IBS Days 2024 in Bologna (originally from April 22nd - 24th) are postponed to June 17th - 19th! Under the slogan “New Insights for a better Management of Irritable Bowel Syndrome” the conference will take place at the Palazzo Re Enzo in Bologna, Italy and will focus on the latest findings and treatments for IBS.
